ABOUT CHRIS ...and whatnot

Christopher Bolter is one of the nation's hottest mind readers and magicians in the market! Headlining at over 100 college campuses per year and working for some of the biggest companies in the world have made Chris a favorite from coast to coast.

Having a slightly unorthodox upbringing in the world of mentalism and performance, Chris' unique style has definitely set him apart in his field. With clients like ExxonMobil, AT&T, Coca Cola and Apple under his belt, he is guaranteed to display his witty humor and impressive talent in ways you can’t even imagine. He is definitely Not your typical mentalist!

Chris’ tour “Completely Mental” takes him across the country and around the globe with his hilarious one man comedy mind reading show. He combines a clever blend of magic, psychology and showmanship into a full evening show. Which takes the audience on a humor filled journey into the amazing world of the human mind!

Chris had the opportunity to open on several occasions for actor Ryan Gosling’s band “Dead Man’s Bones”. A variety type show with local acts from the touring cities mixed with innovative and original music. Along with having performed for celebrities like Steve Martin, Johnny Depp and Avril Lavigne, Chris is a favorite among some of the biggest names in show business!

Born in Boston, Massachusetts Chris spent his summers with his family organizing and managing many state and local fairs and festivals. Specifically in Marshfield, MA where Chris was introduced to performers of all styles and varieties. Making his way around the midway, Chris learned the skills and trade from sideshow performers, stunt men and of course magicians. All when he was between the ages of five and ten! His first magic trick he learned was how to read women’s minds! (he was 8 years old). A skill Chris still uses to this day.. (for entertainment purposes only of course..) When Chris turned 11 he began performing for the public at local libraries, and elementary schools.

Making his living strictly from performing magic, Chris was able to pay for his college education by doing what he’s still doing today, performing! When Chris was fifteen years old he began “Agent 86 Magic Productions” his own, self-run entertainment company which he still owns today. Spun off of the popular sixties comedy show Chris created this agency which nows offers performers of all types of events around the country!

Chris holds degrees in behavioral psychology and business. He speaks at several colleges and magic organizations around the country on a regular basis. He currently resides in Boston and travels the world performing his unique style of psychological mentalism!
